The world we're in (Limited edition giclée print)
This is one of 150 limited edition giclée prints of an acrylic painting delivering an an anti-war message.
It shows lifeless charred buildings destroyed by war and a fighter jet flying above them. Their reflection in water puddles formed by bombs was replaced with an imaginary view of how they were before the war. We see in the reflection colourful buildings full of life. We see the people who disappeared from the top section waving and talking to each other from their balconies. We see birds flying in the sky instead of the war plane above, and we understand that the crushed red and white metal in the rubble was a school bus that once transported happy children to get the education they deserve. The upside-down image is our beautiful lives turned upside down to be replaced by a present that was imposed on us by war hungry monsters.
The image measures approximately 20×27cm and is printed on fine art textured paper measuring 30×40 cm leaving space for a mount surrounding the image should you choose to frame it.
