Silent tears (giclée print)
This is a giclée print of a watercolor painting of a woman from Darfur in Sudan. I painted this during a civil war in that region, reflecting the suffering of civilians, and women in particular. The art lover who purchased the original painting from an exhibition I had in London touched my heart when they cried as they looked at the painting over and over again. They visited the exhibition three times before eventually buying the artwork.
The printed image measures 30×30 cm, and is printed on textured fine art paper measuring 40×40 cm leaving space for a mount board surrounding the image should you choose to frame it.
