The sunflowers in this picture were presented to me by a friend during an exhibition of my art. We both remembered Van Gogh and I decided to paint them in his memory.Van Gogh painted sunflowers in different ways and it was clear that they meant a lot to him. In one paintng he used them to represent the different stages of life.
