a welcome note
Welcome to my website. I guess you found your way to this blog because you’re an art lover, and hopefully because you liked my art. This is the ultimate pleasure that an artist can get when their art is presented to the world.
There is an “About” section that tells you more about me and my art, so instead of re-introducing myself, I will be using this journal/blog to update you on my new work, activities, or observations that I think are worth sharing. I will also share more with you in my Newsletter occasionally if you shoose to sign up. The link is at the bottom of each page including this one.
My biggest news for now is that I finally decided to build a website after years of activity on social media.
This took a long time - and a lot of stress! - because of the different opinions I got from the kind friends and artists who cared to advise me. Many of them found it much easier to display and sell their work through specialised websites and online galleries, and many thought that social media was the ideal place to connect wih art lovers and collectors. But I had to settle on having my own website as well because people kept asking me about it. So here it is. I built it myself and I kept it as simple as possible. If you face any problems using the website, I would really appreciate it if you got in touch so I can fix them. I do expect there to be some teething problems in the first few weeks (or months) following the launch. But I hope that they won’t affect your enjoyment as you browse the various sections.
The other big news to share is my participation in Landscape Artist of The Year 2025 which was broadcast in February.
I will share my experience - and photos! - in the next blog. So stay tuned…
