Tribute to Van Gogh ( acrylic painting 30x35cm)
This is an acrylic on wooden panel painting. It shows sunflowers in a vase sitting on a Van Gogh’s Wheat Field painting. Van Gogh painted sunflowers in different ways and it was clear that they meant a lot to him. In one paintng he used them to represent the different stages of life.
The sunflowers in this picture were presented to me by a friend during an exhibition of my art. We both remembered Van Gogh and I decided to paint them in his memory.
The painting ( unframed) measures 30×35cm approximately. Framed It measures 44.5×51cm.
